Today is National Doughnut Day! The holiday, which is on the first Friday of June each year, celebrates the doughnut (a.k.a. "donut") -an edible, ring-shaped piece of dough deep-fried and sweetened. So check out your local Krispy Kreme to get yours today, I will be! No purchase necessary..nada, zilch! There's nothing better than a HOT original glazed-my fave!

We went and got our free donut for dessert after lunch.... and my favorite donut is blueberry cake at Shipley's.... but at Krispy Kreme it's Sour Cream Cake.... YUMMY!!!
I am SO mad that I missed this. I read about it on someone's blog earlier today. Augh! Next year... ;)
