Today was the Spring Fling at Helena Elementary School. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! We arrived shortly after noon and didn't leave until 5:30. Needless to say, I am pooped! I painted faces for several hours until my sweet husband told me to take a break and he would take over for a while. I had several dads tell me he gets the "husband of the day" award!

We purchased Anna Reed and Gates an armband for the rides.

Gates is my cautious child and did not care one bit to try the Scrambler, he stuck to something a little more low key:
CARS! Right up his alley!
They both loved the slide and playing games. I was a little shocked to see this as one of the prizes offered at the Pick Up The Ducks game. I mean really....this is a children's game people!
Hmmm, tonight I am going to watch the Disney Channel. Eat my vegetables? Not tonight
Good grief!
We couldn't leave before we had a funnel cake, a MUST have at any carnival!
This was all that was left by the time I got my camera out!

It looks like it was a fun day for everyone! I loooove the scrambler at amusement parks! And the food?? Sooo bad for you, but tastes so good!
